GONE TILL NOVEMBER: The Fugees Reunite Before Pras Michel’s Prison Sentence

The Fugees reunited for six songs during Lauryn Hill’s headlining set at the annual Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia last Saturday night in what could be their joint performance in a long while.

Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel joined Hill in celebration of her 25th anniversary of her landmark album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, doing hit songs including “Ready or Not,” “Killing Me Softly,” and “Fu-Gee-La.”

Sadly, it may be the last time the three are together on a stage as Michel is heading to jail soon after being found guilty earlier this year on federal charges including conspiracy, witness tampering, and failing to register as an agent of China. He faces a sentence of up to 20 years.

A sentencing date is yet to be set.
