Tesla car owners in Europe have been struggling to charge their cars following an App glitch. Users have been shown the error message ‘503 Server Maintenance’.
Some Tesla drivers say they can’t connect to their Power wall home battery charging system while others have been unable to access public chargers.
The app issues began for Tesla drivers in America before spreading to Europe, Teslascope tweeted.
Tesla had faced a difficult winter withlarge queues for chargers and viral videos of drivers unable to access their cars in cold weather.
Despite that, the company managed to shift a record 1.31 million vehicles over the last 12 months but that figure falls short of analyst’s projections.
Elon Musk acknowledged the glitch in a tweet saying, ‘Please stay tuned while we make adjustments to the uh.…” algorithm”,’
It is understood that Tesla owners in China are unaffected as their system is based elsewhere.
