President John Magufuli of Tanzanian has dropped an MP nominated for a ministerial position in his newly formed cabinet after he hesitated and struggled for words while taking the oath of office.
Francis Ndulane, a member of parliament who was picked to a deputy minister in the mines ministry, but failed after many attempted to say the words before being asked to take a seat as other nominees were called to take their oath.

In his remarks President Magufuli said that he had reviewed the CVs of all nominees before appointing them, he then said Ndulane would be replaced.
“I will give this position to someone who can take the oath properly,” the president said.
Francis Ndulane who is yet to address the issue in public, will however keep his seat as MP.
