Former Zimbabwean footballer Tendai Ndoro has died at the age of 40. Ndoro was found dead in his home in Johannesburg, South Africa.
His former club Orlando Pirates confirmed the news in a statement, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former striker Tendai Ndoro.
“The club extend heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.”
Fans have continued to pay tributes, with one saying: “Rest in peace brother.”
Another added: “Thank you for the memories. Condolences to the entire family. Till we meet again.”
Unconfirmed reports have it that Ndoro had been battling a serious illness for a long time before he was found dead in his home.

The striker played 14 times for Zimbabwe between 2013 and 2017, scoring 5 goals.
He had played for South African clubs Orlando Pirates, Ajax Cape Town and Highlands Park, and had also spent a season with Saudi Arabian team Al-Faisaly and Omani team Al-Orouba.
His former clubs have expressed their condolences to the family after the sad news they received, sharing their pain.
Ndoro scored 25 goals in 48 league games for Orlando Pirates between 2015 and 2017.
