A 22-year-old Senegalese university student has been arrested for examination fraud after he dressed up as a woman to sit a Baccalaureate exam for his girlfriend.
Khadim Mboup, a student of Gaston Berger University in Saint-Louis donned a wig under a scarf, wore a bra, earrings and made up his face to complete the impersonation. The deception lasted three days during which he managed to elude supervisors and other candidates for the Baccalaureate.
His 19-year-old girlfriend, Gangué Dioum was picked up from a nearby inn where she was quietly waiting for him. Both were taken into police custody on charges of identity theft and examination fraud.
