BIRD STRIKE: Plane Suffers Extensive Physical Damage From Bird Strike

A passenger plane suffered extensive structural damage from bird strike as it took off from Rio de Janeiro heading to São Paulo in Brazil.

The Latam flight LA3367 h was forced to turn around for an emergency landing.

Photos show the Airbus jet’s nose smashed in — with a large hole — and blood smeared around another dent. No individual was injured, but the flight was ultimately cancelled.

Sharing a post on social media, the airline CEO, Jerome Cadier wrote “I’m venting!” “Another bird strike occurred. The plane returned safely, but the flight was obviously cancelled, disrupting the lives of all the passengers, and of course the airline as well,” the executive wrote.

The incident occurred just days after a Latam flight 3319 from Fortaleza Airport to Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo was struck by birds just minutes after taking off Monday.
