DR CONGO: Ebola Makeshift Treatment Centres Set Ablaze As Protesters Demand Access To Bodies Of Dead Relatives

Violence has erupted in eastern DR Congo’s Ituri province after tensions linked to the handling of victims of the latest Ebola outbreak sparked unrest.

Protesters in the town of Rwampara wanted to recover the bodies of relatives who died of Ebola to bury them. When they were denied, they set the hospital on fire, according to local reports.

Standing at 1.3 meters tall, a humanoid robot was the cynosure of all eyes at a special refuge ceremony at a Buddhist temple in Jogye, downtown Seoul on Wednesday as he received the Dharma name “Gabi” during the ceremony conducted by South Korea’s largest Buddhist order, the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, ahead of official celebrations for the birth anniversary of the Buddha on 24 May.
