GHANA: Murdered Pastor’s Nephew Arrested Over The Church Premises Murder

Two suspects is in police custody for the gruesome murder of the head pastor of the Central Assemblies of God Church at Tema Community Four, Rev Dr David Nabegmado.

Rev Dr David Nabegmado was stabbed to death Sunday morning at the church premises while preparing to deliver sermon.

One of the suspects is Rev Nabegmado’s nephew, Francis Nabegmado who lived with him for some time and the second suspect is said to have aided the stabbing. Both suspects are being interrogated by the Tema Regional Police Command.

The pastor, who was reportedly attacked while preparing to leave his inner office to the main church auditorium to preach as service was ongoing died few hours after being rushed to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

The alleged killer was arrested by members of the public and was almost lynched before the police stepped in and took him away.
