Ghanaian born city trader found guilty of unauthorised trading loss in UK while working for Swiss bank UBS resulting in the loss of £1.5 billion, has shaken off the home office deportation threat.

As at press time, 22 judges have been suspended in Ghana following an investigative journalist expose of corruption in the Ghanaian judiciary.

A tradesman caught on camera urinating into a coffee cup while working in someone’s home has dropped out of running for Canada’s parliament.

The Anglican Church is investigating five more priests from Mt Kenya region over allegations of involvement in homosexuality.

The five, who are on suspension, are married with children and are said to be homosexuals without their wives’ knowledge, according to Mt Kenya West diocese Bishop Joseph Kagunda.

They are from Othaya, Karatina, Murang’a and Nyeri towns. The church tribunal launched investigations into their behaviour earlier this year. Bishop Kagunda also noted that some of them offer marriage counselling.
